In this week’s episode I chat via Skype with my sister, Elaine Bryan.

Elaine has been vegan for over two years and has gone through an amazing fitness and weight-loss journey. In the pictures you can see Elaine on the left about 5 years ago, and on the right plant-powered and running a 7K in the Scottish countryside.

She now runs multiple times a week, including many timed runs at the weekend, as well as undertaking strenuous HITT classes, pilates and anything else she can get her hands on. Since becoming vegan she has increased her energy levels and feels that the auto-immunue condition that she has suffered with since childhood, Eczema, has also benefited from her change of diet.

We chat about how she manages everything, especially being mum to four strapping teenage lads.
